Initiate defrost by pushing the refrigerator light switch in and out5 times within 6 seconds. The fridg should stop running and start defrosting. You should now get 115 volts to the defrost circuiot in freezer. If not, replace the adaptive defrost board behind the fridg control panel.
To go back to run, repeat the initiate defrost action.

:o Coils frozen over with ice!!! Heater element not open, and Defrost Thermostat checks out good. Where do I go next? I only have about 9 volts going to heater element is that normal? I can not find Defrost Timer I don't think it has one, I have not found one in parts lists! Where is the Adaptive Defrost Control is that where I go next and how do I check it? Thanks for any help!!! Manual defrost every 5-7 days is getting old fast!
