The entire evaporator coil should be lightly frosted at least. A partial pattern indicates low freon or bad compressor. This requires a qualified tech to service.
Maybe check it again since you have cleaned it all off.

I pulled the cover off the evap coil and found it iced up only on the top left side where there is some type of sensor clipped onto the coil. I removed the ice, cleaned & oiled the fan (fan working perfectly) re-installed the cover panel and turned the frig back on. Still seems like the air coming out the top vent is not as cold as it should be. Frig was working fine until I saw a scorch mark on the evap coil cover where the defrost element is located. Element was near the cover the panel, I pushed it back so there is some clearance to the panel. Since the mark appeared, the interior temp has been slowly rising, coldest it would get today is 52°F.

Fridge is on it's highest number but it is still not cold enough, this unit is a full fridge with no freezer
