had a noisy evap fan motor,went to local supplier,and was sold wrong fan without thermistor,tried cutting brown and wire at connector and splicing thermistor to brown and white wires .fan didn,t come on .took part and exchanged for one with thermistor, respliced wires at connector and reconnected fan didn,t come on,thermistor got real warm,and has no continuity,did i short out board or is there an other issue
