apparently it is because the water supply is putting in too much water, the ice is too thick to break out and fall...but you have to have a technician come out to adjust this....and wouldn't you know we are just out of warranty. Does anyone know how to adjust the water supply amount that fills each  time??

Our Samsung is less than 2 years old and has been giving us problems with the icemaker for at least 6 months now. Started just that once a week or so the icemaker would freeze over (because the mechanism doesn't dump all the ice, so the icemaker continues to spill water out over the ice) so, it continues to try to dump, refills over ice (which spills down and freezes the ice bucket into a solid mass, which won't turn to come out of the dispenser) Till this point about once a week we would remove the icemaker, clean it out, dump the whole container bucket, defrost it clean out the whole freezer from the over spill...but at least that would buy us a week of ice. Then it became 3 or so days, now it is every day. I can't be defrosting my ice maker and whole freezer everyday. The mechanism doesn't dump all the ice (it twists like human hands are emptying it) then on top of that it is not smart enough to know that ice was not dumped and it continues to pour water over the top. HELP!!
