for some reason i have problem with the lower igniter is not lighting anymore,, hmmm, any ideas what to start changing first? thanks

It can be because of a bad burner or a bad igniter. That's why you have to check the burner first.

Gene,
Will changing the ignitor solve the problem with the intermittent (but not frequent) explosions during baking? What causes this to happen?

|
Check the Bake burner for a burned through holes. If it's fine, replace the Bake igniter. - The Bake igniter Part number: AP2009619

When turned on the oven does not light regularly. Sometimes there will be a big poof and the smell of gas. At times that will occur throughout the baking cycle. Baking results are not consistent.
