The baking element on our KEMS308SSS05 wall oven/microwave combo went out.
After watching some online videos, I've pulled it out of the wall and found where the baking element goes from the back of the oven. However the opening is covered by a layer of insulation. I would need to cut the insulation to get the access I need. I believe the metal flap will hold the insulation in place once the repair is completed. But none of the videos show a need to cut the insulation.
Just curious if cutting the insulation is a problem or something not to do in order to do the repair.
