on the lock mechanism there are a couple of micro switches. if one of the switches goes bad, the range doesn't realize it has unlocked and continues to supply power to the motor. another problem could be in the oven control. a relay could be stuck. tap on the relays, and the relay may open. to access the lock mechanism, open oven door and remove screws holding the top down. the switches should click when the lever is pushed. if you have an ohm meter they should open and close when you press the levers.

After using the self cleaning function, the "locked" light stays on. When you close the door the locking mechanism engages and disengages continuously. And I think the relay switch is clicking. Any help is appreciated.Thank you in advance for any and all help.
