Thanks! I figured the switch itself could've finally given up. Of course I didn't want to jump to conclusions first without someone else suggesting what the issue could be.

Sounds like the infinite switch (Item 1 in Section 1) needs replacing.
It's contacts have welded together.

Hello!

I was using my stove yesterday and when I turned off the coil that I was using, it remained on. The knob is in the off position. I checked twice. The light on the stove is glowing indicating that the stove is still on. The coil that is affected is the bottom left one.

What could be the problem? Thanks in advance!
