Opening a new post will make it difficult to follow what is going on.

It looks like the lock switch is just a Normally Open switch (only 2 wires) so disconnecting should have fixed the problem if the switch was the problem.

You could check the sensor with a meter, see the below link but I do not think that is the problem.

I am assuming you unplugged/removed power from the unit when you worked on it and you still have the problem re: the board did not reset.

Unfortunately it sounds like the control board is toast.

I have also disconnected the door lock switch and temp sensor and it still does it. Any ideas?
