I apologize that in my zeal to get people off your thread I sort of forget about you.

Here are your parts
Replacement parts for MAYTAG MER5765QAQ Range - S/c F/s Ele | AppliancePartsPros.com

Here is a tech sheet and a manual

Another thing to check is the thermal limiter Item 18 in Section 1.
Unplug the unit. Remove one wire from the limiter and measure it with a meter, should be 0 ohms.

Sorry, I haven't found an answer yet either. Reading other posts, I find that this is a common problem in a lot of models. Seems the baking element frequently burns out following a clean cycle. Really frustrating!!! Anyway, there are some helpful posts about checking the baking element for continuity which my husband is going to do today. Sounds like replacing the element is a certainty and possibly a control unit? Perhaps this "self cleaning" option is in need of a new design.

Please start your own thread using "POST NEW TOPIC" in this section.

Different models can have the same symptoms but very different causes.

I am sorry from the date on this post you and I are currently experiencing this ! The last thing I did was self clean. Now it won't heat at all!
I really need my oven...I will pray somehow it works again,it's not an old stove probably under 4 years old!$$$$$$
If anyone finds this post soon I hope this will be answered.

Sorry I do not have an answer. I simply have the same problem as you are experiencing with my KitchenAid Superba. I replaced a broken glass on the lower oven, then ran succesfully the Self cleaning and presto. Now both heating elements do not work. I will track with you to see if we can get help.

Baking Element on Maytag oven doesn't work after self cleaning cycle. Top units (glass top) work fine and broiling unit works. How do I access the bottom element? It is covered by a metal plate in oven bottom. I've never had a closed one before.
