I had a repair technician replace the solenoid coils in my new Whirlpool Duet LP gas dryer (it was not heating). Once he was finished, the dryer worked however, now we smell gas inside the dryer (we did not smell gas before the initial repair). He claims that now I need to replace the valve assembly (which includes the solenoids he just replaced!). Is it possible that he did something with the gas valve that I can fix? Does anyone know how the valve should be set so that I can check the settings?
