I'd need to test to 100% confirm but yes it's is likely your control board.

You've probably have a stuck or fused motor relay, if you pull the main board out from behind the console lay it face down as you do, (buttons on floor or table) as there are springs and loose parts that will leap out and hide.

If you are truly motivated you can open the plastic housing and try to tap on the relays (black boxes) with the back of a screwdriver or something and you might get lucky and free the relay. The good news is that it's likely it isn't heating after the cycle time ends unless the heater relay is also stuck. The bad news is that it may just stick again next time.

Be sure to transfer the clear plastic light pipes to the new one or you'll lose the indicator lights. Also the stem for the knob must come out, it has a little protrusion molded on that will align with a spot on the plastic to allow it to be removed. It'll also have to be lined up with the knob when you reassemble it. Nothing hard just it is easy to overlook.

Hi All,

I've done some searching and haven't found the specific answer for my model, so I figured I'd post before making assumptions and purchasing the wrong part.

So our dryer won't turn off unless we open the door. Even after cancelling a cycle, if we close the door, the dryer turns on.

From what I have found on other models/brands, it is a control board issue. Can anyone confirm this for my brand/model?

Thanks All!
