You may want to begin with the exhaust line cleaning. Make sure it's clean all the way through the outlet.

If it would not help and the dryer is less than a year old, call Whirlpool for the warranty service.

If it's more than a year old, post the complete model number of the dryer.

I am hoping someone can help me cause I don't have the extra money this month to call in a repairman, I was hoping someone would know what is wrong and we can fix it ourselves.

OK here is the background: a few months ago our Maytag dryer would stop working during cycles here and there. I would put it back on and it would work, then suddenly it stopped working completely and had no power at all. Couldn't reset anything. We replaced it instead of repairing it (we rent and this is what landlord wanted to do.) now we have a brand new Whirlpool duet sport dryer. It worked just fine for the past few months and now suddenly we have the same problem we had before with the other dryer. It stopped working the other day and I had to re-set the breaker for the dryer outlet then the power would come back on the dryer and I would have the code PF. I turned off the A/C in the house and then it worked and finished the cycle.
I have not used it in a few days. I went to use it today and the same thing happened. (I had already turned off the A/C since it worked the other day) now I can't get it to work at all. It just keeps shutting off. When I open the door everything is still wet it didn’t seem to get too hot inside at all.

Any ideas??? Thanks very much in advance for your help! I hope it is something we can replace ourselves. We have someone in the family who is handy that can help us out.
