The first thing I would do is check for 240 VAC at the dryer power outlet. The motor needs only 120 VAC while the heating element needs 240 VAC.

Then, according to the wiring diagram, you have to check for continuity the following parts in the heating circuit:

1. Control thermostat (#15 on the diagram)

2. High limit thermostat (#33 on the diagram)

3. Heating element (#15 on the diagram)

Any of them with the "open" circuit reading should be replaced.
