Cprodave, the most accurate test would be testing it for incoming voltage when a cycle is started. If proper voltage is present and the water supply is on with no kinked hoses, the valve would be the cause of failure.

CPRODAVE,

Unfortunately, we do not have the resistance reading for the valve but the best way to test the valve is to do a voltage test. Set the dishwasher to wash and then test the valve for 120 Vac getting to it. If there is 120 vac and the water is not flowing in then the water valve would be faulty. If there is not power then check the float switch and the wiring back to the control board. If they are good then it would be a control board problem.

When I check this Samsung p/n 33299012 for continuity how many Ohms should it measure? I am currently reading around 1000 Ohms (say 1008 Ohms or 1.008 KOhms). is this Valve good? any other TEst I should perform? Thanks in advance...
