Remove the toe panel and check for a water leak marks on the motor. If there are a such marks then the pump & motor assembly has to be replaced. If everything is clean then the pump can be probably repaired by replacing the impeller kit.

Here are the break down diagrams for the Kitchen Aid dishwasher Model KUDM24SEAL3

Thanks Drags1998 I didnt have anything to test continuity threw the thermal fuse but I used a jumper wire and It fired back up so I ordered the thermal fuse today, but I tried the unit with the jumper wire and it fills with water and sounds like it trys to kick on for a second but wont start and if you sit there a couple minutes it will try to kick on again but wont start. To me it sounds like the motor wont let it fire up. Looking for suggestions. Thanks again

Hi I have had this dishwasher for many years with no problems, but the other day it just stopped working in mid-cycle. Now it will not fire up or light up anything. Just called kitchenaid rep., and they said it was the control board just wondering if anyone had any other opions before I order a control board for $200.00. Thanks
