The computer may be called a microcomputer or a control board.

If the unit is totataly dead it could be that the thermal fuse is blown.

This is in the door and may be on the control board or close to it.
If blown it needs to be replaced with the following. Your unit may not have the harness and the fuse may be on the board itself. Note that the harness must always be used when replacing the fuse.

This dishwasher has never given any problem, and suddenly it does not start and do not drain the water from it. A techinician said the "computer" is not sending a signal to the pump to start. Can you verify this information, or give me a lead what the real problem is, since I can not find a "computer" in the item list
