I have a problem with my oven lighting. The igniter is about 3 years old. It lights up and i can hear and smell gas. But it takes a long time to light and when it does it almost blows the broiler door open. So to compensate for this i open the door ,when i hear the gas I take a towel and wave it in front of the open door and force gas back into the broiler. This does the trick and the oven lights like a champ. After this it works just fine. Cycling properly and heats up just fine. I would like to get this problem fixed to avoid using the towel method every time i use my oven. Any suggestions.
