Surface Burners work OK, Oven dead, no control light turns on for oven
Model Number: JBP65GS WH1 Brand: GE Age: 5 - 10 years
The GE oven I inherited in my house purchase 4 years ago, has worked well, but the oven has stopped working completely. No preheat light comes on for the oven. Clock still works, surface burners work. Plug looks OK.
As a first step would the - element(s) not working cause the control light to go off when the oven turn knob is put on? I was wondering how old this unit is, I am tempted to replace since one of the burner glass surfaces is badly marred. Ads By Google Related Models
