Caloric range
Model Number: RST359 Brand: Caloric Age: More than 10 years
The oven temp will not go above 200 degrees. Why. The burner is lite and burning, but very little heat. I smell gas. Please help.. Karl

I just check the oven and the broiler works but the oven does NOT lite up. I left it on for several minutes and the oven didn't lite. What need replaced??

Hi Karl,
Most likely the problem is a bad bake igniter, but before replace it I would check the igniter for continuity. If it's open then no doubt this part has to be replaced. - The part number for the bake igniter is AP2934763 Here are the break down diagrams for the Caloric range Model RST359 Gene.
