Default Erc Replacement
Model Number: JTP95BW2BB   Brand: GE   Age: 5 - 10 years

Just purchased from you replacement part # AP3772915 (made by GE part # WB2T10590). The replacement instructions that came with the part refer to a 4-pin inline block with black, green, white, and yellow leads and two white SENSOR LEADS.

In step 2: On the models with 9 pin plus 12 pin block harness, disconnect the 4-pin block inside the upper oven (with black, green, white, and yellow leads).

In step 3: On 9 pin plus 12 pin models, it is necessary to cut old sensor connector off at the control and strip the leads for retrofit inside the upper oven control cavity.

In step 6: On 9 pin plus 12 pin models, reconnect the two white SENSOR LEADS with provided wire nuts. No polarity.
Reconnect the 4-pin inline block (with black, green, white, and yellow leads).

Question 1: The 4-pin inline block (with black, green, white, and yellow leads) that came with the new part is a pin connector (male) and it should be a socket connector (female). Is this a mistake or am I suppose to replace the male connector with a female connector? How?

Question 2: In step 6, where do the two white SENSOR LEADS reconnect to? Is it to the old sensor connectors that were cut off and stripped in step 3?

Thanks
