I have the same problem agraywall. I have a Whirlpool Gold Model # GY398LXPS. My control panel has been erractic for the last few months. The current problem is that the off button for the oven will not work. Everything else is functional. I have been pulling out the drawer to pull the plug each time I need to turn it off.

Someone please help us!!

Many thanks!!

Default Non of the buttons work on mine

I wish only a couple buttons didn't work. I want to order the touch panel or the control module behind the buttons but I don't know which one to replace.

I might just order both and return the one that I don't need.

A couple weeks ago I contact Whirlpool and received absolutely no sympathy from them. I feel totally ripped off.

Ripped off is right. We upgraded to this range when we built our house. Huge mistake. Hopefully someone has an answer.

agraywall,

Most likely the problem with your oven is a bad control panel. In order to provide the right part number I need the color of the control panel.

Gene.

johnmou,

Looks like the cause and the correction of the problem with your range are described in this Whirlpool service pointer.

Gene.
