Default Oven Blown Fuse?
Model Number: GBD307PDS7   Brand: Whirlpool   Age: 5 - 10 years

I Actived the self cleaning on the electric oven and it's not powering up. This happened several years ago and a repairman pulled the unit and replaced a fuse or some component that regulated the power into the unit. It was a quick job and it seemed to be a regular type of repair.

I need to replace this component...Any ideas what it's called or is it a fuse.

I have looked through the site and came up with this part is it the one?

Thrmst-fix
Part Number: AP3879224 made by WHIRLPOOL

Thanks.

Default

According to the model number you posted, the part number (#37 on the break down diagram) for the thermal fuse (aka thermistor fixed) is AP3885687

Gene.
