We have narrowed down our problem to an oven ignitor. Burners and broilers work but the oven takes a long time to heat up or does not heat up.

According to research, we need Maytag ignitor ap205873 but we have also seen part number 12400035 can be substituted as well.

Can the experts steer us straight on this replacement part? Thank you.

Sorry for a very late response, but I thought this may help other visitors as well. Ignitor 12400035 replaces many different styles and brands of oven ignitors, including AP205873.
