I cannot find any info using the given model number.

You should be able to use the old power cord as long as it is in excellent shape.
If not buy a new one.
If the connections are corroded/pitted or discolored get a new one.
The reason is that if the connection to the terminal strip is not perfect, it will heat up over time and eventually fail.
Also a good idea to use a connector compound re: ox guard etc.
Note: Use a very light coating as it does conduct and you do not want to cause a short.

The difference between the 3 wire and 4 wire hook-up is.
On 4 wire the earth ground (unit frame) and Neutral are separate.
On a 3 wire they are the same.
So you have to add a ground strap from the unit's terminal strip center connector to the machines frame.
This is a very important safety issue. If this is not done and one of the live wires should short to the frame, the machine frame/case could go live. Then if you touch the machine and say the water tap you will get 120 volts across the heart. It may only give you a nasty shock but it could kill someone with heart problems or a child.
Often the strap is there just not connected when the unit is wired for a 4 wire line cord.

So at the terminal strip
Red goes to red (L1).
Black goes to black (L2).
If the color code above is not correct, the red and black attach to the outer most two connections on the terminal strip.
White (Neutral) goes to the center.

The following should help.

Unless you are sure about what you are doing get in a pro.
