Model Number: KGCT365BAL 2 Brand: Kitchen Aid Age: More than 10 years
2 of the 4 burner igniters are inoperative. I tested them by removing an OUTPUT wire from the Spark Module that goes to a working burner (#4), and connected it, one at a time, to each of the bad burners (#1 & #2) igniters. They both now work. They work by using the bad burners Switches (#1 & #2) on the control panel. I don't know why the #1 or #2 INPUT wires to the Module sends current to the #4 OUTPUT wire. Can someone explain if this is an accurate test?? It appears the Spark Module is defective since it received the proper input signals. Do you agree with my diagnosis that the Spark Module is bad??
