We lost power yesterday thanks to a nasty wind storm that came through (and lovingly brought snow for Mother's Day ). Past power outages haven't caused any issues, but this one did.

The clock on the range won't display the time now. It also reset itself to display Celsius and to operate silently, both of which have been fixed already.

When we push the "set clock" button, it will show the time (which will be correct), but it will disappear after about 3-4 seconds. Pushing and holding the "set clock" button has the same effect. There is nothing in the owner's manual regarding turning the clock display on/off or how to remedy this problem.

Any help?

I have the same problem with a 9 year old Kenmore range. The clock will not display the time but still works as a timer re-setting the main breaker at the panel solves the problem for while but it eventually returns.
