ceramic cooktop
Model Number: GJC3034LB01 Brand: Whirlpool Age: 1 - 5 years
HELP!! I have a ceramic cooktop. The large burner knob will not turn on stove. The pin underneath the knob is loose or something.
Okay, so my problem is that I have called a repairman who charged me $75 dollars to tell me that he will not remove the cooktop from on top of my counter because he doesn't want to be responsible for any damage to my counter. Huh? It is just sitting on top. If I needed a new ceramic cooktop would they tell me the same thing and not sell me one? I have a decent handyman, but would need to know if there is alot involved to remove it. Otherwise, I am in Palm Beach County, Florida and could use someone to come out to fix what I think is the switch and take out and put back the ceramic top.
