Oven Repair (including Ranges and Cooktops)

We have a 24" wide gas range and it turns the bottoms of the pots and pans black. The flame is mostly yellow. Is it getting too mush air? How do I adjust it?

Sorry - the stove is 150 miles away at our cabin and I don't have that info.
