Model Number: cooktop Brand: Kitchen Aid Age: 5 - 10 years
The elements on my Ceran cooktop quit working. I've checked the breaker and it isn't tripped. What am I missing?

Try flipping the breaker off/on slowly a couple times.
Sometimes you can loose half the line and without actually tripping the breaker. If this does nothing then you will need a meter to check the power. L1 to L2 should be 240 volts L1 to Neutral and L2 to Neutral both should be 120 volts. If you decide to do this be very, very careful as 240 volts is lethal!!!1
