The glass door on the outside of the door on my Frigidaire was broken. Upon searching all the sites, the part# of the glass (5304401679) has been discontinued by the manufacturer.

I have looked everywhere and cannot find a replacement. The measurements are 18.5" high, 25.625" wide and 1/8" thick. Any ideas on similar parts that I could make work?

I talked to a local "Glass Doctor" shop, but they were afraid to order me anything for a stove since they couldn't seem to understand that this goes to the outside of the door and not the inside.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. In this economy, I'd rather not buy a new one!

Sorry but I cannot be much use here, hopefully someone else will jump in with some help.

They will not be able to help you as it is tempered glass so cannot be cut or drilled (if necessary) by them.

All I can suggest is take a tape measure and go to a few stove retailers. You may be able to find a glass from a new unit that will do the trick.
