Rank: Member Groups: Registered Joined: 6/14/2008(UTC) Posts: 1		One of the 4 heating elements is not working. "Surface hot" lights up, but the element does not heat at all. Lifted up the surface and tested with a voltage tester. This particular heating element does not get voltage, while the rest 3 work fine. Should I buy a new heating element and replace the old one by the new? Do I need to buy the element with limiter (or without it!)? What is the limiter and does it always go together with the heating element? I need help in deciding which of the following three parts I need to order 1. Enlarge Photo Elmnt-surf Part Number: AP3672859 made by WHIRLPOOL 2. Enlarge Photo Elmnt-surf - Comes with limiter Part Number: AP3884618 made by WHIRLPOOL 3.
