Brand: GE Age: 5 - 10 years
I just replaced the spark module ( AP2020570 ) in my GE stove top and the burners all light very nicely now.
The problem I am having is that there seems to be an intermitant spark to all burners even when the control knobs are all in the "Off" position or when they are in the "ON" positions. The spark seems to be taking place on a regular interval of 3-4 minutes apart but I have not timed it down to the second. Is this a regular (safety) feature of the ignitor module or is it a problem with the new ignitor? If it's not normal, can you suggest a fix? (I posted this same problem at the tail end of another thread but figured that thread might be no longer active so I have reposted it.) Ads By Google |
