How do I open the glass cook top to replace an element?
Model Number: JER8850AAW Brand: Jenn-Air Age: 5 - 10 years
Hi,
I have a Jenn-Air JER8850AAW electric range, serial number 13053694UD. The outer element in the right front side of the stove is not working but the inner element is. How do I open the glass cook top so that I can replace the element? It looks like it may just open by lifting the front edge but I'm not sure. BTW, is replacing the element to likely fix or should I check something else before ordering the part? Thanks for your help.
