Heating element shorted out in oven my husband replaced the element, but the oven still does not work. What else could be wrong with it?

According to the wiring diagram there are no any safety devices (fuses, thermostats etc) to prevent damages to the control board. Looks like the shorted heating element caused a damage to the control board, which has to be replaced now to fix the problem with the oven. It has to be replaced together with the overlay because it's glued to the control board.

- The control board (aka a clock/timer) Part number: AP3854311

Thanks, you are probably right because the top element does not work now when you turn the oven on either .
