Model Number: KEBC107KWH03 Brand: Kitchen Aid Age: 5 - 10 years
I have a Kitchen Aide self cleaning convection Oven and have used the self-cleaning feature 3 times and experienced a failure a couple hours into the cycle with a F5 E5 trouble code each time. The Thermal cut-out has been replaced twice and is good only until the self-clean is used.the part number of the replacement is 4451442 (AP3885687). Whirlpool gives a replacement part number of 9759242 and you give a recommended part number AP3879224. Is it possible that the Opening temperature of the original part and the replacement parts is too low?
Are the only alternatives to junk the (expensive) oven or replace the part a third time and not use self-clean? My Kitchen Aide model number is KEBC107KWH03. Ads By Google Related Models |
