I have the range listed above. The other night my wife was pre-heating the oven to use. All of a sudden the bottom element started burning into a flame about an inch long in the back right corner and worked it's way around the element. I turned the oven off and it continued burning so I unplugged it and the flame went out. After letting it cool I saw the element had broken into four different pieces. Will simply replacing the element solve this problem or is it something more serious like the EOC? Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Most likely the new Bake element should solve the problem.

- The part number for the Bake heating element is AP2125026
