Oven Repair (including Ranges and Cooktops)

I have a very old Frigidaire range model # RDG20P. I have had a problem with the burner controls. I have had to replace 2 in past years but now all 4 have gone bad over 6 months. What could have caused this. Is there really a difference between the 6 inch element controller and the 8 inch element controller? How old is this oven/range? And yes it is avocado green, it is in my kitchen and no I am not embarrassed by it when friends come over. Except now they ask why it doesn't work?

This is a very old model and nothing for this model is available on-line. I would recommend to call the Appliance Parts Pros customer service (877-477-7278) and ask for Adam.
