Top of range is working fine. Oven is not working!! Help.

Slide the broiler drawer out and turn on the oven to BAKE. Take a look inside the broiler compartment (keep a few inches away from the broiler). Give it about 10-15 seconds. If you see the igniter glowing, you probably have a bad igniter (could be a bad safety valve, but usually it's the igniter). If this is the case, replace the igniter. If the igniter is not glowing, it could be because the thermostat is bad or the igniter is broken. This will require some testing, I'm not sure how far you want to go with this.
