The canel button on the control panel is stuck or broken. It will not pop out. Can it be fixed without replacing the control panel?

Probably not.
Only way to tell is to remove the timer from the unit and give it a try.
Could be you just need the overlay.
Note you may need an overlay and a control board.

NOTE: Be sure to unplug the unit when doing this.
