Model Number: REGC39BNW2 Brand: Frigidaire Age: More than 10 years
Dear Sirs,
I own the above model Frigidaire, can anyone tell me how to check the dual element switch? Both the inside and outside burner comes on no matter which direction the control knob is turned. Also, can someone give me directions on how to replace the old switch with the new one, are there any concerns for me to understand before tearing apart the back panel of the range? Also, does someone know how to calibrate the oven? I dont have a thermometer that reads that high to calibrate with, any suggestions? Thanks so much |

According to your description of the problem with the dual element the switch is bad and does not need any further diagnosis.
In order to calibrate the oven temperature you have to have a good oven thermometer. - The part number for the dual element switch is AP2141123 Gene.
