The ignitor was burned out (flat ignitor) on our GE oven. I ordered the new one. Went to replace it, only to find that as soon as pluged in, it began to heat up despite the dial being "off". only when turned to "Broil", did it shut off so I could unplug it. The settings all seem to be in reverse. Hooking up a current meter to the plug, then seemed to indicate the same thing, no circuit on "broil", circuit complete when "off". Any suggestions, explanation? Thanks
