It's best not to mess with these connectors. After an electronic component is isntalled, there is no returning it. It sounds like you received the wrong part. Does this part look more like what you need? Part number: AP2025075

Just to add my 2 cents...
The model number you posted does not come up anywhere and it is not possible to say if the part number for the ERC you received is the correct part number. Verify the model number and, if you are sure it is correct, try to get part number from the old ERC. It should be in the same format and start with "WB" . Also if you can post pictures of the old part and wire plug(s) it might help as well.
