Model Number: RB757W Brand: Hotpoint Age: 1 - 5 years
Well, the hubs decided to replace the oven light, it broke, leaving the base in the socket. Hubs decided to remover the base of the bulb without turning off the power to the stove. Yes. ahem. Despite advice from the wife (me!) that he had to turn off the power. Gee. At least I convinced him to use insulated pliers.
The oven shorted out. The eyes on the range work, but not the stove. It seems dead. Yes, I checked the fusebox - nothing blown, so I think there must be a fuse in the oven itself that was blown. I checked the owner's manual and don't see a schematic or anything that tells me what to do now. Other than do the repairs around here my own self!! :-) So, any sources online to view a schematic? Or instructions on what to do next? Thanks so much. I NEED this oven! Ads By Google Related Models |
