GE Built-In Oven F2 Code Oven Temps Erratic & Over-Temp
Model Number: JKP15W0W2WW Brand: -brand- Age: More than 10 years
Hello and Thank you
I have a GE Built-In Cabinet Mounted Wall Oven.
The Model # is JKP15WOW2WW, Serial #RS688956Q
The Unit when started on BAKE Cycle will reach Pre-Set Bake Temp and will Signal Beep OK.
Often, but not always, Oven will typically reach over-temp and throw an F2 Code
Actual Temps (as set) will not be accurate as verified with Oven Temp Gauge and mostlt over temp by as much as +100 Degrees or more.
I will also get this error on Clean-Cycle too.
I see GE F2 indicates ERC Issue
1. Is this fixable and worth fixing?
2. Approximate Cost? for me vs Self-Repair
3. Does Oven or Just Front Touch Panel Assembly need to be removed?
I am confident I can effect repair myself if I know what part will do the job.
Thanks for your assistance
