Oven doesn't work!

Model Number: ACF3325AW Brand: Amana Age: 5 - 10 years

My parents recently received a gas oven from my niece. When I tested it in the garage, it worked, just fine. Now, it starts to heat, then cools right off!

Any suggestions? [without paying an arm and leg for Amana to 'look' at it? Thanks, a billion!
