Model Number: REGC39BNW2 Brand: Frigidaire Age: More than 10 years
I own the above Frigidaire Range, my dual element burner comes on fully no matter which direction I turn the switch. I believe it is the switch itself because when I hold the knob in and turn it without releasing the knob to extend it back out the dual element only lights the inner burner. The second I release the knob, switch, both elements turn on. My question is how does the knob come off of the switch so I can get the switch out. Im talking about the gray plastic knob on the front of the control panel on the front of the range. The other knobs for the other three burners just pull off, but Im having alot of resistance pulling the dual element burner knob off???? PLEASE ADVISE!!! Your help is much appreciated!!!
