Model Number: SF379LEKS Brand: Whirlpool Age: 1 - 5 years
My gas oven will not stay lit. It ignites, works for a little while and then beeps with the code F-1 E2 on the display. I have unplugged it and shut off the circuit breaker to clear, but it still won't work properly. Without even turning on the oven, the error code comes up.
The gas burners work fine. I have called Whirlpool, but they can't tell me what the error code means and insist I have to call service for a diagnostic. If anyone knows if I can handle this myself I would appreciate the help. Rebecca |
