O.K. ... I might have finally got bit by the "too good to be true" bug, but the seller was a nice guy, and probably has no clue the unit had any problem...so...

Got the unit off Craigslist for $$$ DIRT $$$...
Wired said unit to existing 240v wiring.
Verified 121v @ each leg and 242v total input.
Verified unit is properly grounded.
Verified the above stacked micro (Maytag UMC5200AAB) operates 100% O.K.

So... upon power up:

oven fan runs constantly...
Oven light will not light when door is opened (bulb is O.K.)
Oven light will not light when "oven light" button is pressed (two beeps)
Pressing "bake", "broil", etc. will query temperature, but upon setting temp, "bake" or "broil" indicator will light STEADY for about five seconds, then revert to no temperature display, and no actual temperature change will occur in oven whatsoever... :-(


I'm guessing the above symptoms will allude to a common error condition, and since I got the unit for $100.00, I'm hoping your collective wisdom will assist me in getting this thing running without costing anywhere NEAR the sticker price of new... haha
