Our carpenter removed the oven door from our ~5 year old viking walloven while he was installing it into its new location. How do I put it back on? I tried sliding it into the slots, then pushing down, but it doesn't seem to be working. He did not 'lock' the hinges when he removed the door, so they're in the 'closed' position. Thanks in advance... M

The hinges must be open to reinstall the door, so you'll have to pull real hard to get each hinge open. On my viking oven, there is a hole through the side of each hinge, and you are supposed to stick a small nail or the like into the hole (while the door is still attached and is open) so that the hinges won't close (and cause you all this labor to reopen them) when removing the door. Therefor, when you get each hinge open, you need to use something to keep them open while reinstalling the door. Hope this is clear enough and is helpful. dadala
